These tiny spoons are full of character and sure to liven up your kitchen or table. Each is hand-carved in rural Kenya from sustainably harvested wood and tipped with a batiked-bone accent. Every piece is as unique as the artisan who crafted it. 

Sold as a set of 4 spoons inside a hand-sewn traditional kitenge pouch, along with an artisan signature.

ORIGIN

Acacia Creations x Creative Women was founded as a means to connect the skills of remote artisans with global consumers. They believe in creating long-term employment that cultivates dignity, empowerment and permanent change.

Artisan Info: 

Collins has been working with olive wood in rural Kenya his entire life. He and his team cover large areas collecting fallen wood. At their workshop, they hand-carve each bowl and spoon into beautiful tabletop pieces. The entire community benefits from this skilled trade and the area is now known throughout Kenya for its woodwork.
